Account Creation

To create an account, click the Bank tab in the Receive section of your dashboard. You will be asked to accept the Bridge Terms of Service and then be guided through the KYC process, which typically takes less than 5 minutes to complete.

Once you have submitted all required information, your application will be reviewed. This usually takes minutes but may take longer if some of the provided data needs to be double-checked.

As soon as you are able to see bank details in the Bank tab, you are ready to receive payments.

Receiving Transfers

USD Transfers

You can receive USD by sending ACH transfers to the account details shown in the Bank tab. The minimum transfer amount is $1.

Transfers are typically credited to your account within the same day but timelines may vary as this is dependent on the sending bank and the ACH network. We also support wire transfers for amounts above $10,000.

You can switch the chain for deposit transfers by clicking the Edit button at the bottom of the table in the Bank tab.

The following transactions are fully permitted to be received by virtual accounts:

  • for non-US residents:

    • First-party payments where you are sending USD from your bank, fintech app, or brokerage account

    • Third-party payment where a registered business sends USD from its bank account

    • Third-party payment from a family member's bank account, where you share a surname

    • Third-party Person-to-Person payment for an amount less than $2,000

  • for US residents:

    • First-party payments where you are sending USD from your bank, fintech app, or brokerage account

    • Payroll payments from businesses

Euro Transfers

Euro transfers require you to set the amount of Euros you would like to receive in order to generate deposit instructions.

When making a transfer, make sure to send the exact amount of Euros you set and include the reference text in the transfer. Failure to do so will result in delayed deposits and may require talking to support.

Euro transfers are typically credited within minutes but timelines may vary depending on the sending bank and the payment rails.

Sending Transfers

Outgoing transfers are currently available from any token on Base. We recommend using USDC to get the best exchange rate.

To get started, open the Send box with the ↗ button next to the token you want to send. In the to field, press the bank icon to add a bank recipient to your contacts. You can then select the recipient in the dropdown of the to field to proceed with the transfer.

Fees

Currently, we do not charge any fees for creating an account as well as receiving and sending bank transfers up to $20,000 per calendar month.

Fees may change over time, and you will see any changes in the Fluidkey interface.
