How to Complete KYC on Fluidkey
Overview of Fluidkey’s Banking Features
Fluidkey integrates Bridge’s banking infrastructure, allowing users to access traditional financial services directly within the app without switching between multiple platforms. Through this integration, you can open a bank account under your own name, receive USD or EUR directly, and send funds to external bank accounts via ACH or IBAN.
All of these actions take place within Fluidkey’s self-custodial structure, meaning you remain in control of your funds.
To enable these features, you will need to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) identity verification to meet financial compliance requirements.
Step 1: Start Bridge KYC
Go to the Fluidkey homepage and tap “Bank”. The system will then guide you to start identity verification.

Step 2: Fill In Your Basic Information
Follow the system instructions and fill in the following information step by step:
-
Full legal name in English
-
Date of birth
-
Phone number
-
National ID number
-
Residential address in English
⚠️ Please make sure to enter your full English name and residential address exactly as shown on your passport. If you enter the information in Chinese, you will not be able to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Upload Your Identity Document
After completing the basic information, the system will ask you to upload a valid identity document.
Supported document types include:
-
Passport
-
National ID card
-
Driver’s license
-
Residence permit

When taking or uploading a photo of your document, make sure the entire document is visible, the text is clear and readable, and there is no glare or blur. This will help ensure the verification process goes smoothly.

Step 4: Complete Face Verification
After uploading your document, the system will start the facial verification process. During verification, please make sure to:
-
Keep your face clearly visible
-
Avoid wearing hats, sunglasses, or masks
-
Follow the on-screen instructions, such as turning your head left or right, to complete the verification

Once all verification steps are completed, your KYC will be complete!
Step 5: Confirm That Banking Features Are Enabled
After completing all verification steps, please wait a few minutes. When your dedicated receiving account information appears in the Bank section, it means the banking feature has been successfully activated. This usually takes around 5 minutes.
Users in some regions may be required to complete an additional video verification step. If prompted, please follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Banking Feature Overview
Deposits and Withdrawals
Once activated, you can use your dedicated account information to receive USD or EUR transfers. In your Fluidkey account, USDC is treated as equivalent to USD at a 1:1 ratio.
Incoming funds are converted by default into USDC on Base and deposited into your Fluidkey account with privacy protection.
You can also adjust the target chain and cryptocurrency for incoming funds using the “Receive as” option below your banking information. Please note that different receiving options may involve different fees, so we recommend checking the fee details before making a selection.
Transfer Limits
Each user receives US$3,000 in free transfer volume per month, covering both deposits and withdrawals. You can continue using the service after exceeding this limit, with only a 0.3% fee applied to the excess amount.
